Atlanta Beltline Halloween Doggy Parade and Costume Contest

The Beltline, East Side Trail, H4W Skate Park Field Atlanta, GA

Start: 3pm at the Freedom Parkway underpass on the Atlanta Beltline just before the skate park.

End: 4pm at Park Tavern, Piedmont Park

The costume contest registration and judging will take place at Park Tavern. You and your pup can dine and drink during the contest.

Wickedly good prizes for large dog, small dog, human-dog combo, homemade costume, and grande supreme!

$20 to enter the costume contest. Donations requested for the parade.

I had to leave town quickly for a family emergency and needed a pet sitter. I filled out the online form on a Saturday and not long after I got a call from Robin. She set up a meeting for next day with Laurie. Laurie is fantastic!! Even my shy boy (I have 3 rescue cats) warmed up to her in a short time. She sent daily updates and even sent pictures of my happy family in action! She even asked me how I was doing a couple times to make sure I was okay. She is a kind and compassionate person and I felt my cats were in great hands! I felt like I left my cats with a good friend. The app is also very easy to use and you can put instructions and info about each pet you have including any meds or special needs.I had to extend my stay and Laurie was very accommodating. I will always use GA Pet Sitters for future needs. Best sitter I ever used!!

First I am that dog mom who loves loves her gsds. To say leaving them for the first in someone’s hands took a miracle. Gwinnett Pet Watchers does not disappoint. When Robin brought her crew to meet the dogs, my heart was put at ease. First , Robin (owner) was professional. She’s knowledgeable and she knows what she’s doing. Thorough with information and pays attention to details. Taylor (employee ) was outstanding. She’s not there to do a job. She’s there to love your dog. It’s so clear. Gone for 5 days and attentive to your notes, joyful personality, thorough and genuine. Informed us everyday with updates and pictures. Trustworthy to be in your house. Robin and Tay both amazing!! We couldn’t be more grateful. So good to know we can count on Gwinnett Pet Watchers next time. Definitely not enough stars to rate! Excellent job!

We used GPW for the first time when we went out of town for our wedding. Robin was very quick to set everything up and assign us our pet sitter, Taylor. Taylor went above and beyond in caring for our 4 reptiles and 4 cats for 4 days. She is very energetic and enthusiastic, and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. Although we paid for 30-minute visits, she stayed longer than this to give our babies extra love and attention. Not once did we worry about our babies because we knew they were in good hands with Taylor. We will certainly use GPW again and request Taylor in the future!

Taylor was amazing to Diesel. She sent me updates and pictures daily. She would refill his water bowls, rewind his calming sounds, walk him and clean anything she touched. Because of a couple reason we had to move back to Kingsland away from Taylor. I know Diesel really like me her 😞 We wish her the best. She will be missed

They are the best pet sitters! Cathy is always very helpful, on time, and detailed with her visit summaries. I love getting pics sent after each visit. They also were able to give my older dog medicine when she was still here on drop in visits too. I highly recommend them for any of your pet needs !! I would trust my dogs with them no doubt

GPW are most reliable people to take care of your pets. Their response time is quick. You get lots of control over instructions to your petsitter through their portal. The petsitter sends you lots of updates and pictures so you feel in touch. They are 100% reliable. And our petsitter LOVES our pets - we ask for her again and again.

I have been using GPW for over a year for mid day potty breaks for my dog when I know I have to work late. I had a week long vacation planned and decided to use their services for the overnight pet sitting. This was new for me and I was a little hesitant, but the comfort of my fur baby is very important to me. I could not be happier! Jen C was AMAZING! She sent me messages daily along with photos and videos. She loved Polar and took such great care of him. Including brushing him! He’s a Siberian Husky blowing his winter coat so it was no small feat. I just got home today and he’s been walking around looking for her :) I cannot stress enough how great this experience has been. Do yourself a huge favor and use GPW for your pet sitting or dog walking needs!!

Having never used a pet sitter in the past, we were anxious about leaving our dogs with a stranger. After talking with Robin and meeting our pet sitter, Deb, we felt at ease. Deb did a fantastic job not only with our 2 dogs, but our 2 fish and guinea pig as well. She provided updates, with pictures, after each visit! My kids really loved reading her texts and seeing her pictures. We returned home to happy pets, our mail on the table, and freshly washed dog bowls drying on the counter! Deb really went above and beyond our expectations! You cannot go wrong with Gwinnett Pet Watchers! We will DEFINITELY use them again in the future. Thank you Deb and Robin!!

I can't say enough GREAT things about this service. I will never have to stress out about who will care for our pets again! The service was 100% reliable and eliminated all of our concerns over having to be away from our three dogs for an extended period of time. They portal is incredibly easy to use and provides the customer the ability to create a comprehensive pet profile. My husband and I needed to be away for two full weeks overseas and Gwinnett Pet Watchers met 100% of our expectations. We have two senior dogs and knew that trying to have them in someone else's home or boarding at a kennel would just be too stressful for them. Our sitter Jennifer was the BEST, sending us daily updates to both my husband and I via text and email with pictures. Jennifer stayed overnight each evening and came mid-day as well. This was the perfect solution for us and mimicked our kids normal routine. She also collected the mail and watered our plants. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I can't rave enough about GPW. Before I moved to GA Robin and I spoke a month to month and half before my move. I have a lot of question as I'm extremely picky about who is around my pups. She was always so informative and quick to respond. When I made the move and she came over for the meet and greet she brought Rachel over who was assigned to my pups. Robin was fantastic! She is friendly and energetic. I had felt like she was an old friend and we were catching up. I knew I was in great hands! Rachel, is God-sent! She is so great with my pups. She tends to them as if they are her own and my pups are ALWAYS happy to see her. It warms my heart to see them so excited again. She is familiar with how I train my pups which made any worry I had disappear. Kudos to Robin for making this perfect match! Price, I am beyond excited about the price because it was much more costly where I was living in NC. Every visit I receive a detailed update on how the walk went and pictures.My pups love her so much that when they are finished with the walk my female puppy will find her "baby" (large stuffed puppy) and shows her off to Rachel and my male closes in for a good chin rub. This is how I know that I am with a great company that truly cares! Thank you GPW! For everything!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical, as I never had a complete stranger in my house while I was away. However, Kyle did an amazing job!!! He sent text messages with a picture of my dog after each visit, picked up my newspaper and mail and even gave my fur baby her medication! It's hard to say what I think of a service that takes all of your information and then just.....vanishes!! No further communication. I will keep my business at Reigning Cats & Dogs. They do everything that I need of them and more! UPDATE: I did receive a call today from this company. They apologized profusely and assured that nothing like this would happen in the future. I have already hired out the job to another company but I appreciate the follow-up.

$24 for a one hour walk? Two minimum visits per day? Nope. Not for me. Definitely does not appeal to the working class American. Only need a dog walker once, 30 mins per day, while i work from 9-5 like most others. But they do not accommodate these needs. You should probably think about reformatting your contract.

EXCELLENT!!!!! My husband and I went out of town for a week and I was really anxious about leaving our pets behind. These ladies rock! Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! I tried several different companies but Gwinnett pet watchers are by far the best pet sitting company out there. They have amazing customer service and stay in touch with me via text messages when I am away. I love getting updates on my dog along with pictures. We love Georgia (Gwinnett) Pet Watchers! Robin and team have taken care of our 2 cats, Turtle & Crush, many times over the last several years. They show up, they are consistent and professional every time. I always know my cats are in good hands. They are used to being fed wet food in the morning and dry in the afternoon so it helps to keep them on a schedule with the wet food. Especially Crush who has urinary issues. Sometimes the sitters even get to actually see the cats when they come out of hiding, or they will kneel down to count four glowing eyes under beds or tables. 😂 I always recommend GPW to everyone pet family I know. We just need you out in Monroe in Walton County so my mom can use the services too. 😁 Highly recommended.

Robin and her group have taken great care of our pets for a few years now. After being disappointed in various kennels in the area I did some internet searching for a better option. We will never go back to kenneling our pets. Georgia Pet Watchers keeps our furbabies happy in their own home and gives us peace of mind. 5 animals at home in their own yard and beds makes for calm and healthy pets; we get daily updates and pictures while we are away too. Every member of the team’s professionalism, love for our kids, and willingness to go above and beyond is why GPW is the BEST! Each visit includes a check in update with pics included at times as well :) Several team members helped us with our kids in the 4 years as clients and all of them are top notch. Our most recent sitter (Cathy McKenna) is wonderful! Cant say enough. Request confirmations are communicated quickly and our schedule varied greatly, sometimes from day to day. GPW is flexible and 99% able to accommodate last minute requests. We recently moved to TX and will miss all of you! We have two cats who have never had me and my fiancé away before. We were very nervous to leave them since it would be impossible to come back home in a crisis. Ginger's introduction meeting with us was everything and more. She covered all our concerns, and when it came to our absence she sent us text message updates with pictures and notes on their behavior. Ginger even kept our bird feeder filled for our angels "cat tv." She really cared about the comfort of our pets and it really showed. We even worried if they'd miss her more than us!
